Austere TacMed originated from a need for niche law enforcement gear. Faced with a highly variable law enforcement/search and rescue mission in the harsh, remote desert Southwest, I realized that nobody make gear to suit my needs. Traditional military gear works well in the desert, but I wanted more customized pouches and didn't need a full combat loadout. Traditional law enforcement gear is even more dated in design and construction, and doesn't adapt well to extended work in unforgiving terrain. So I started sewing, and kept designing products based on my own requirements and customer requests.
Austere TacMed duty gear is 100% made in the United States (my garage)
by a current LE/EMT (me). As a result, I operate with a limited stock of products ready to ship. If you can buy it, I have it sewn, ready to go. If you can't buy it, follow and engage with my Instagram @austere_tacmed for opportunities to request production runs and restock information.
I mark orders fulfilled and send tracking info when it actually ships, not when I print the label. Look for the email to know when your gear is on its way.
All my gear is designed to be functional, reliable and economical.
I use quality materials and no frills construction to deliver gear
that does what you need without breaking the bank.
I rely on my own gear the same as all my customers. I am careful to ensure that every piece I ship will hold up to whatever you put it through.
All gear has an end of service life date due to normal wear, tear and material degradation and I'm committed to getting you every shift possible out of your gear. If you experience any defect with your ATM gear,
please email support@austeretacmed.com
